If you are ever looking for a comfortable lodging in Schiedam, consider B&B Museumkwartier Schiedam.

The property is located within the center of Schiedam among the retail shops, next to Jenevermuseum and a short walking distance away from places of interest such as Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, the Nationaal Coöperatie Museum and Museum Mill De Walvisch.

There are two studio rooms each (€95.00) suitable for two guests, a one-bed room apartment (€115.00) with a kitchenette meant two people and an apartment for up to 4 guests (€135.00) that has a fully-equipped kitchen perfect for a family.

Our Schiedam overnight stay was at Melchers Apartment located on the top floor above ‘THE MUSEUM CAFE – Zavor Coffee Experience Schiedam’. The accommodation was spick and span as B&B Museumkwartier Schiedam is a fairly new establishment. It has two bedrooms looking down at Jenevermuseum’s terrace, a bathroom with shower in the bathtub, a separate toilet and a spacious tv-kitchen-dining room.
The room price does include the usual amenities such as towels, soap and shampoo, small fridge, coffee/tea making facility, TV and WiFi. The kitchen was furnished with cutlery, crockery, kitchen tools, pots and pans, stove, an oven, a dishwasher and necessary cleaning materials.

Our additional breakfast at €7.50 per person, was served on the ground floor at the coffee bar between 0800hrs and 0930hrs. The spread was basic but it was everything we needed; white and brown bread, croissants, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, jam, orange juice and of course coffee/tea. The host was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. A wonderful experience!
