Last Sunday …
I had the pleasure of joining Petra Dielman from ArnhemLife on one of her regular English guided tours entitled “Introduction to Arnhem City Walk”.
During the 2-hour city walk, Petra enthusiastically enlightened us on lots of fun facts about Arnhem city; construction of the sleek new Arnhem Central railway station, its notorious history during the World War II, the beautiful murals hidden around street corners, budget restaurants, favorite local hotspots, devilish historic building and many other places of interest along the way.
The highlight of this guided tour was certainly the little known panoramic terrace above the national library that has a magnificent view over the Arnhem city! (See photo below)
