The Passage (old section) in The Hague is Netherlands’ oldest shopping arcade built between 1882 and 1885 by architects Herman Wesstra Jr. And J.C. Van Wijk. It was built to imitate the high-class shopping experience of Paris.
Nowadays, this glass covered shopping street is filled with boutique stores, bustling food and drink establishments and even a hotel.
It is worth a walk through window shopping. Don’t forget to look up and admire the architecture!
